Our outdoor education provision means we offer many adventure activities students may not have experienced before, all delivered in a safe environment and supervised by trained instructors. From quad biking to archery, abseiling to bushcraft, we build your programme around your learning outcomes.

It is our goal to ensure each student on any of our programmes leave with a developed aspect of the below. We strive in helping children unlock their potential through the use of outdoor education.

  • New Experiences | Try things you may not have tried anywhere else, such as quad biking, archery, crate climbing and more! Skills from these activities can help you in everyday life situations, from teamwork to communication skills, we’ve got it covered!
  • Social Development | A student’s first residential school trip is designed to help encourage their independence. We focus on developing other life skills such as positive group interaction, creativity, leadership and problem solving.
  • Confidence Boost | Interacting with new people in a new environment can be scary for some, but with the reassurance and 24/7 supervision from our Xplore staff team, we ensure that children are able to unlock their full potential through the use of hands on learning. New experiences like these are a huge confidence boost to children!
  • Evening Activities | Each evening after dinner, the whole group takes part in a fun and social activity. From Nightfall Navigation, a timed orienteering challenge and campfires, full of songs and marshmallows to disco night, the perfect way to end your stay.
